Registering to cash a cheque
Cash Zone can cash any type of business cheques, crossed, A/C payee and non-negotiable, Wages, Inland Revenue, Insurance payouts, Utility, HM Paymaster General, Social Security, Local Authority, Lottery, Pools in fact any cheque issued to you by a company*.
To use our cheque cashing services we must comply with HM Revenue & Customs regulations, who license us, which state “we must prove who you are and where you live” to process a cheque for you.
To register, you must supply the following:
Photographic ID
(at least one of the following)
Current UK photo driving licence.
Current passport.
Current CIS card or employee ID card.
National ID card.
Proof of address
(at least two of the following posted to your home in the last month)
Utility bill.
Mobile phone bill.
Bank or credit card statement
Revenue & Customs letter
Wage slip
The letter attached to the cheque.

When presenting a cheque
(we will need the following to validate the cheque)
A letterhead, compliment slip or business card from the issuing company
The letter that came with the cheque.
A wage slip to confirm the cheque.
To maintain your registration we require your proof of address to be updated every three months.
*We retain the right to refuse to cash any cheque without giving a reason
